Los cinceles de vástago redondo, también denominados dientes de bala, son repuestos indispensables para las cucharas de perforación rotativa en roca, los tubos portanúcleos y las barrenas para roca. Durante las operaciones de pilotaje, los dientes de perforación entran en contacto primero con la roca o el suelo, realizando el corte del terreno para que las herramientas de perforación puedan extraer el material excavado. Por ello, los dientes de perforación desempeñan un papel fundamental en los trabajos de pilotaje. El grado de resistencia al desgaste de los dientes y su eficiencia de corte afectan directamente el rendimiento y la velocidad de avance de la perforación. Existen múltiples tipos de dientes de perforación, entre los que se incluyen los modelos B47K17.5H, B47K19H, B47K22H, C31 (dientes Kennametal, dientes BETEK), entre otros. El cliente debe seleccionar el tipo de diente adecuado en función de las condiciones del terreno, o bien solicitar asesoramiento profesional a la fábrica JZTG.
